Background

Content Summary:

The Mystery of Charles Dickens played to tremendous acclaim in London's West End, then toured the UK and finally transferred to further acclaim on Broadway. This remarkable one man play is a tour de force which brilliantly interweaves Dickens' turbulent life with some of his most memorable fictional characters brought to life by Simon Callow's breathtaking performance.

Material in the Australian performing arts programs and ephemera (PROMPT) collection consists of programs and related items for Australian performing arts organisations, Australian artists performing overseas, professional productions performed in Australia (including those featuring overseas performers) and overseas performances of Australian plays, music, etc.
