The Asian Youth Council (AYC) was a voluntary association of the Asian National Coordinating Committee of Youth Work. The goals of AYC included serving as a forum for the exchange of information, collecting and studying material concerning youth problems and needs, and promoting the extension of the work of voluntary youth organizations. Observer status was conferred on International voluntary youth organizations which subscribed to the goals of AYC.
The papers include correspondence, minutes of meetings, seminars, workshops, conference papers and reports.

- The records were donated by the Australian Youth Policy and Action Coalition in 1994, 1995 and 1997.
