The Youth Services Documentation Project (SERDOC) was administered by the Youth Services Development Program of the Commonwealth Office of Youth Affairs. SERDOC was carried out between July 1985 and June 1986 with a budget of $575,000 and involved selecting high quality local youth agencies and projects in a broad range of categories, documenting their operation and promoting the agencies and projects as examples of effective approaches for youth project planners and other interested groups in the youth field.
This series includes the 'SERDOC documentation workbook' sent to participating organisations, and documents detailing the history, philosophy, structure, level of youth participation and other characteristics of many youth organisations.

- The records were donated by the Australian Youth Policy and Action Coalition in 1994, 1995 and 1997.
