- Hubert Murray, published by Oxford University Press in 1962, is a biography of the New Guinea administrator, Sir Hubert Murray. Born in Sydney in 1861, Murray was appointed Chief Judicial Officer of British New Guinea in 1904. From 1908 until his death in 1940, he was Lieutenant Governor of Papua. The series comprises correspondence, the agreement with the publisher, research material, photographs, drafts and reviews of the book. The correspondents include Walter Lucas, H.L. Murray, Gilbert Murray, P.D.F. Murray, Mary Pinney and Oxford University Press.
