Includes correspondence, certificates, receipts and reports relating to Fisher's activities in Queensland including his employment in the mines; his involvement in a number of cooperative investment schemes; the Truth Publishing Company and the newspaper, Gympie Truth.

Documents relating to his later political life include correspondence concerning a bank loan to Thomas Dunstan; the purchase of a piano and letters, telegrams and accounts from the legal firms Hedderwick, Fookes and Alston and Sly and Russell, in connection with a slander suit brought jouintly by Fisher and G. F. Pearce in 1915.

The papers were donated to the Library in several instalments by Fisher's family between 1961 and 1990.
