- Personal collection of Ahmad Shah Siddiqi documenting his time in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Australia during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan between 1979 and 1989. The collection comprises approximately 250 photographs, mostly colour, which document the activities of Afghan Mujahideen fighters during the Soviet-Afghan war; 118 anti-Soviet propaganda posters produced by the Internal Islamic Fronts of Afghanistan; 66 Afghan newspapers including issues from Daily Shahadat, Alfalah and Ghalbe Assia; papers written in Farsi; and other ephemera including cards, stickers and Islamic headscarves produced by the Press and Information Department, Political Committee Hezb-i-Islami, Afghanistan.
