- The papers are concerned almost exclusively with Sir Hugh Ennor's period as Secretary of the Departments of Education and Science (1967-1973) and Science (1973-1977). It contains a few letters, copies of his addresses, a pocket notebook containing appointments (1959-72), and address book and a number of press photographs.

The papers were donated to the Library by Lady Ennor in 1978. An addition of four boxes was received in 1980.
