A large part of the collection comprises Fred Daly's original chronological files and his files on 'personalities'. The papers include a large number of press cuttings and also press releases reports campaign material Hansard extracts correspondence notes and diaries.
References to many individuals and events occur throughout the papers for example particularly across the series 'Chronological files' 'Elections' 'Subject files' and 'Personalities'.
