Content Summary:
The Reciprocal Exchange Programme was established in 1967 with funding from the Ian Potter Foundation to provide training grants to younger Members of Parliament. Recipients of the programme were able to visit an overseas country, take part in seminars, make contacts and study the institutions and policies of the country they visited. Similarly, comparable parliamentarians from a range of countries were brought to Australia.
Immediate source of acquisition:
The records were donated by the Institute in two instalments in 1970, 1994 and 2002. Some financial records were returned to the Institute.
