- The records in MS 4985 mainly consist of the correspondence of the Federal Secretary, 1936-1977, and papers documenting meetings of the Federal Conference, 1919-1984, and Federal Executive, 1944-1979. In addition there are circulars, subject files, cuttings, publications, photographs, including photographs of H.V. Evatt and the 1975 Federal Conference delegates at Terrigal, papers associated with the Socialist International, financial records, papers on state, federal and pre-selection elections, a file of the Federal President's correspondence, 1970, and albums of cuttings that cover the 1917 No conscription campaign and include minutes of the Federal Standing Advisory Committee, 1939-1943 (577 boxes, 3 fol. boxes, 3 fol. volumes).
