Broinowski's novel 'The male reasons' was written in the late 1970s, but it was never published. The series comprises correspondence, research material and drafts.
The correspondents include Lee White (Macmillan), Geoffrey Dutton, Michael Costigan, P.J. Galvin (Australian National Advisory Committee, International Women's Year), Penguin Books and Robert Maklin. Copies of most of Broinowski's letters are included.
The research material includes cuttings on the Women's Electoral Lobby, women's liberation and working wives.
