Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) Notice: This consignment contains Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) of Australian First Nations peoples, specifically First Nations artwork and Languages including, examples of First Nations artwork on the façade of school buildings in Bamyili (Barunga), Northern Territory, art produced by Aṉangu people, artists from the Yalata and Oak Valley Communities, Yalata artist Yvonne Edwards and South Australian artist Winnie Bamara. Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers at MS 8290 were purchased from Christobel Mattingley in several instalments between 1990 and 1994. Further papers were received in 2002, 2012, 2015 and 2021.
