- A large group of letters from Florence Young to Deck and Young extended family members. Subjects include Florence's decision to go to China as a missionary, letters from her postings in northern China at Kwei-k'i and Shan-Ts'ing describing conditions there, advice and encouragement to her nieces and nephews. These letters were used by Florence Young in her book Pearls from the Pacific
