Typescript history of Fairymead, undated, unsigned, with pencilled additions ( 5 pp). Typed notes on Fairymead, including letter from Arthur Young to his nephew Charles Young, undated, but ca. 1932 together with pages 7 and 8 only of a longer typescript. Australian Sugar Journal, Vol. 67, No. 5, Aug 1975, with an article 'The Youngs of Fairymead', pp. 232-233, by Charles A.N. Young. The cover illustration includes photographs of the three founders of the firm, Arthur, Horace and Ernest Young. (See also box 8/folder 1)
Immediate source of acquisition:
The papers were acquired from Charis Young's Estate, which was administered by her nephew, Peter L. Young. His sister, Patricia Braga, and her husband Stuart oversaw their transfer to the National Library of Australia.
