Background

Content Summary:

Also included is a similar map, produced by the US Geological Survey, of the site of the 12th World Scout Jamboree, held at Farragut State Park, Idaho, in July-August 1967. Eccleston attended this jamboree, and the free map, with its animal and plant illustrations, inspired the design of the subsequent the Gilwell Park map.

Added in 2018 is Eccleston's original surveyor's notebook containing his field notes, bearings and traverses at Gilwell Park 1977-1980.
