Followed by various sets of remarks on places and animals, the first of which is an account of the loss of the Cora dated 13th Jan. 1821. Contains some coastal profiles and many maps.
The expedition seems to have been mainly concerned with making a close examination of the islands of New South Shetland (i.e. South Shetland, in the Antarctic), and after River Mersey and Porto Santo these places are specially mentioned:
