Journal of a voyage from London to Brisbane by J.P. Ricou on the emmigrant ship Indus, 10 April to 3 July 1872, noting weather details and daily events on board ship.
Biographical / Historical:

John Ricou (c.1853-1908) was a steerage passenger on the Indus.The Indus, commanded by Captain E.P. Ellis) was a 1319 ton barque which on this voyage carried 508 passengers.
