Ledgers, minutes of meetings of directors of the Melbourne company, financial papers and correspondence. Correspondents include W.J. Roberts and A.E. Webb of Melbourne and R.J. Cash of Coventry. Includes plans of the factory in Melbourne.
Biographical / Historical:

John and Joseph Cash founded their ribbon weaving company in 1846. In 1906 the company set up subsidiaries in the United States, Canada and Australia. The Australian company was based in Richmond, Melbourne. In 1928 it amalgamated with the Australian Weaving Co. Ltd.
