The scrapbooks, which date from about 1890 to 1964, contain photographs, newspaper cuttings, cards and printed ephemera relating to various members of the McMorran Family. The subjects of the photographs include Archie and James McMorran, the daughters of Archie McMorran and the wedding of his daughter Jean, the wedding of James McMorran and Lily Hansford in Sydney (1926), St Paul's Church, Burwood, and St John's Church, Canberra (where James McMorran was buried), other family members in Australia, Australian scenes, and labels from Australian food parcels. There are also postcards from Australia, a press cutting about James McMorran's death (1927), and letters (1946) from Bill McMorran (Gunnendah, NSW) and John McMorran (Sydney).
