Howlett Ross; Literary and business correspondence 1905-20 concerning Sladen's editorial work on Australian Poets 1788-1888 (1888), Adam Lindsay Gordon and his Friends in England and Australia (1912), Poems of Adam Lindsay Gordon (1912) and The Autobiography of Sir John Monash; Literary agency 1912-21 relating to Sladen's interest in Australian literature and his writings, including: The Finger of Mr Blee; Peter Blundell, The Cities of Zenobia and Saladin; Poems of Adam Lindsay Gordon (1912) and W.M. Hughes' The Industrial Battlefield and the main correspondent is F. Butterworth; Books and literary projects 1911-16 comprising correspondence and reviews of Adam Lindsay Gordon and his Friends in England and Australia (1912) and From Boundary-Rider to Prime Minister (1916). Biographical / Historical:

Sladen emigrated to Victoria in 1879. Professor of Modern History, University of Sydney 1882-84. Returned to England in 1884 and wrote over 50 books, including a number of publications on Adam Lindsay Gordon.
