- MS 9987 comprises papers relating to Forace as former High Commissioner for Malta in Australia. Includes: personal files; files on individuals and relations with China and Korea; 3 scrap books 1972-75; speeches, photographs and printed items on Australian-Maltese relations; correspondence relating to Forace's diplomatic appointments as Malta's Ambassador to China and various Arab countries including Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq; photographs and documentation of official visits; briefing notes; immigration documents; and notes relating to Forace's funeral and eulogy.

Forace was born in Valletta, Malta, in 1925 and came to Australia in 1954. He was Malta's High Commissioner to Australia from 1971 to 1978. In 1977 Forace was appointed dean of the diplomatic corps in Australia. Forace's posts as Malta's representative eventually extended to 18 countries including China and the Arab nations.
