Content Summary:
This collection comprises papers relating to Gelling's career as an independent musician in Australia. Included is correspondence, business papers, sheet music, drafts of compositions, drafts of music instruction books, financial records, photographs relating to the band 'Blind Freddy', and ephemera.
Biographical Note:

Australian musician, composer, arranger, and music teacher. Published over 130 instruction manuals for a range of instruments and styles. Member of the Canberra-based band Blind Freddy, founded in 1988.

Acquired from the family of Peter Gelling in 2019 with the assistance of historian, Barry York.
