This collection comprises correspondence sent by Carol Jerrems to her friend and fellow photographer Jon Conte from 1970 to 1973, and one vintage silver gelatin photograph. Rather than traditional letter, the correspondence between Carol and Jon took the form of a 'Dadaist ping-pong', or collages of everyday life. It consists of 23 envelopes with ephemera, including snippets of Carol Jerrems' writing. The collection provides an insight into Carol Jerrems' sense of humour, lifestyle, and personality. Some envelopes are signed by Carol Jerrems under a pseudonym, such as Jerry Moonshine, Jerry, Phenomenologically Jerry, Micky Spillane of the Nullarbor Plain, Jonny Sunshiner, A Free Apple, Lorac Smerrej, or Germaine Eunuch. The 24 jigsaw puzzle pieces photograph is a portrait of Jon Conte with his incomplete appearance.

The Kenneth Rowell costume design archive comprises approximately 1400 original costume designs for 87 productions created by Kenneth Rowell from 1943 to 1993. The works encompass Kenneth Rowell's entire theatrical design career in theatre, ballet and opera principally in Australia, plus early and later works produced in England. The archive includes a number of original poster designs for productions and festivals, production documentation, sketchbooks, notebooks, drawings, contracts, correspondence, programs, catalogues, photographs, negatives, index cards and recorded interviews with Kenneth Rowell.

MS 6383 comprises papers relating to Buzo's career as a playwright and author. There are manuscript and typescript drafts of his plays and novels, newspaper cuttings, promotional material, which includes posters and programs, photographs and reviews of performances of his plays. The correspondence in the collection documents Buzo's friendships with many other writers. Correspondents include Peter Corris, Michael Costigan, Diana Day, Geoffrey Dutton, Sandy Gore, Jonathon Hales, David Hare, Jack Hibberd, Ray Lawler, Valerie Lawson, Kathy Lette, Robin Lovejoy, Bruce Mason, Roger Milliss, Stephen Murray-Smith, Louis Nowra, Harold Pinter, Robert Quentin and John Tranter.The collection includes an amount of working material on Buzo's plays, including scripts, drafts and sketches, correspondence with producers, and photographs of productions. Three plays have significant background material: Makassar Reef, Rooted and Coralie Lansdowne says no. There are also programs, publicity and newsclippings. Folder 10 includes photographs of Buzo (6 boxes).

This collection includes papers relating to the personal and academic life of Emeritus Professor of Musicology Allan Marett and include: correspondence; reviews; interviews; journalism; lecture notes; concert programs involving Marett as consultant, author, performer and scholar; newspaper and magazine cuttings; records relating to radio programs and interviews including four programs on Aboriginal music for 2MBS and six programs on Japanese music for the ABC; drafts, reviews, correspondence and texts of the plays Eliza and Oppenheimer; correspondence regarding prizes and appointments; invitations and personal family documents including those relating to the musical life of Marett's parents. Also included are records resulting from two ARC projects on the 13th Century Japanese flute score Chû Ôga Ryûteki Yôroku-fu in the Gagaku tradition (Japanese Imperial Court Music and Dance), comprising a copy of the original tablature score, transcriptions of all pieces and an analysis of the structure of these pieces.

This collection comprises approximately 300 numbered musical scores, mainly handwritten adaptations and arrangements, with some photocopies. Some of Butcher's original compositions are represented, including the full arrangement of his opera for children 'The Children's Crusade'. Some of the arrangements were written for TV, radio, symphonic concerts and the Sydney Dance Drama Company.
