The collection comprises a copy of Hepburn's thesis, 'Ova-dose: Australian women and the new reproductive technology' (1988) and notations leading to the published book of the same name by Allen and Unwin in 1992. It contains Hepburn's comprehensive collection of research for the topic in the form of newspaper cuttings, scientific, medical and popular periodical articles, book chapters, government papers and print-outs from Hansard.

Correspondence and manuscripts of Brooks' own work, including some of his notebooks and diaries, comprise the bulk of the papers. The development of Brooks' work, from initial ideas and thoughts to a published work, can be traced in these papers. There are also manuscripts of his selections of the poetry of A.D. Hope and of R.F. Brissenden, as well as the work of other writers.

Indian Australian Association of South Australia (IAASA) is a not-for-profit organisation which was established in 1967 and a constitution was formulated in 1971 for the explicit purpose of promoting Indian culture in Australia. The aim of IAASA is to involve all South Australians, not only Indian heritage migrants, to develop a spirit of cooperation, unity and interaction between Indian and Australian communities to promote harmony. IAASA functions as a peak body for all the Indian regional and cultural organisations and is the first port of call for the government for any issue concerning the Indian community.

Contains typescript articles, addresses and broadcasts by both Walshes on political and social issues significant in Australia's inter-war years such as strike, arbitration, Russia and communism, friendship with Japan and women's rights; papers on the Federated Seamen's Union of Australasia which include Accounts of the N.S.W. Branch, 1912, the General President's Weekly Expenditure Books for 1925 and 1926, a Register of Members for 1929, articles on court cases, minutes of meetings in 1925 and 1929, and papers on the industrial dispute at Innisfail in 1922; a few papers on the Australian Seamen's Union, including a draft constitution and rules; correspondence dating from 1906 containing union and personal letters; roneod and printed items such as The Voice of the People and The People Guild bulletins and International Anti-Communist Entente literature; and photographs relating to the feminist movement in Great Britain.
