This collection comprises volumes of poetry, note and recipe books, correspondence to and from Chris Woodland and music. Also various archived and miscellaneous material from the Wild Colonial Days Society (WCDS). There are issues of some WCDS N.S.W. branch journals (August 1967 - August 1968) and the 'Fossiker' March - August 1968). Papers include correspondence (bound), an address book, questionnaire and membership forms, the society's revised constitution, a members re-enactment report and note books with the handwritten meeting minutes. Newspaper clippings (some photocopied), photographs and ephemera highlight the society's activities, centenary events and historical re-enactments of The Capture of the Clarke Brothers, The Cobb and Co. run, The Shooting of Johnny Gilbert, The Bargo Bush murder, the Ben Hall gang and the shooting of Constable Nelson. The are numerous tickets and programmes to balls, dances and concerts with flyers, a felt banner and a typed film scripts with one titled 'HMS The Branch of justice'.

Julie Dyson (AM) is an arts advocate working across several national and international organisations, including as past Chair of the National Advocates for Arts Education and a Global Executive member of the World Dance Alliance. She is the former national director of Ausdance and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2007. This collection has been developed by Julie Dyson during the course of her career working in performing arts focusing on dance. It contains personal papers, study notes, teaching materials, dance and ballet programs, clippings, board papers and an artist journal.

The collection comprises papers relating to the business and personal activities of Maldwyn Rees editor and compiler of The Welsh Australian - a magazine for the Welsh community in Australia, and his wife Blodwen. The Welsh Australian began publication in 1935 with articles and contributions solicited being drawn from correspondence within this collection. Maldwyn Rees' papers include material from various Welsh Australian churches and cultural activities of the welsh community. Rees served as the Sessions Clerk for the Welsh Presbyterian church for over thirty years during which time he was responsible for the publication of Y Ddolen - The Link. Rees resigned from this position in 1972. The Papers of Bruce Smeaton comprise original feature film, television drama and television commercial scores, working notes and parts, along with initial sketches for cues, composed and orchestrated by Smeaton between 1975-2005. The film scores include Picnic at Hanging Rock, the Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith, the Devil's Playground, the Cars That Ate Paris, Monkey Grip, Grendel Grendel Grendal, Roxanne starring Steve Martin and Plenty starring Meryl Streep. The television scores include Seven Little Australians, Ben Hall, A Town Like Alice, The Eureka Stockade, Patrol Boat and Castaway. Also included are newsletters for the Composers and Songwriters Guild of Australia, a group formed in Sydney in the 1970's, for which Smeaton was an editor.
