MS Acc07.101 comprises scrapbooks chronologically covering Roger Smalley's musical career over the period 1956-1996. The scrapbooks were assembled by Smalley's father, John Smalley, and consist of news clippings, concert programmes, and related ephemera. There are also a small number of loose concert programmes from the early 1980s, mostly for the BBC Promenade Concerts (2 boxes).

The bulk of the papers in MS Acc09.028 relate to the many theatrical productions on which Sharman has worked over the course of his career. They include correspondence, including a small group of letters from Patrick White, scripts, production notes, reviews, ephemera, photographs, scrap books, costume designs and research notes. There is also correspondence with family, friends and colleagues, appointment diaries, diaries containing Sharman's writings and miscellanous papers relating to specific productions, photographs, posters and a large collection of programs. There is a small group of papers and photographs relating to Sharman's father, James Michael (Jimmy) Sharman (63 boxes, 8 large cartons, 19 fol. boxes, 13 oversize packets).

The collection comprises papers relating to the business and personal activities of Maldwyn Rees editor and compiler of The Welsh Australian - a magazine for the Welsh community in Australia, and his wife Blodwen. The Welsh Australian began publication in 1935 with articles and contributions solicited being drawn from correspondence within this collection. Maldwyn Rees' papers include material from various Welsh Australian churches and cultural activities of the welsh community. Rees served as the Sessions Clerk for the Welsh Presbyterian church for over thirty years during which time he was responsible for the publication of Y Ddolen - The Link. Rees resigned from this position in 1972.
