This collection comprises papers relating to the lives and careers of Moffatt Oxenbould and Graeme Ewer, particularly Oxenbould's tenure at Opera Australia, as well as material relating to Australian performing arts history. The material includes correspondence, original opera set and costume designs, photographs, scrapbooks, Edwardian postcards, ephemera, appointment diaries and journals, newsclippings, magazines and other printed material, cassette recordings, artworks and realia.
The bulk of MS 9926 comprises Herbert Feith's papers relating to Indonesian politics and society, which were accumulated during the course of his long career. There is a large series of correspondence, much of which is with other noted Indonesianists; writings by Feith, including drafts of his books, conference papers and articles; subject and research files; lecture notes; writings by others on related topics; and cuttings, many of which are from Indonesian newspapers (115 boxes, 1 carton).
The papers include general correspondence, eight manuscript notebooks recording ideas for Carey's writing, drafts of several of his novels and short stories, reviews of his work, school reports and the transcript of an interview with Van Ikin. Five of the notebooks contain notes which relate mostly to Carey's novel 'Pets' which was later published as Illywhacker.

The collection includes a cuttings book containing press cuttings about Summers and Damned whores and God's police; files of research notes; cuttings; and, correspondence on a wide range of topics including women and poverty, single parents, family, Caroline Chisholm, child care, Aboriginal Australians, rape reform proposals, suicide, women unionists, education, prostitution, racism, Womens' Electoral Lobby, Adela Pankhurst Walsh, women and the media. The collection also includes material relating to the journal Refractory girl and the publication of Her story: Australian women in print 1788-1975. The collection is largely concerned with three generations of the Delprat/Teppema family, documenting their lives in the Netherlands, Australia, Argentina and Uruguay. It is distinguished by the remarkably complete and well-ordered nature of the family's correspondence, particularly between Tania Teppema/Hemblys-Scales and her parents. There are also letters of Daniel Delprat (1816-1840) and his son F.A.T. Delprat (1820-1933); letters and papers of Guillaume Delprat and his wife Henriette (1894-1937); material relating to the musical career and travels of Carmen Delprat (1904-1956); personal and diplomatic papers of Peter Teppema (1912-1960), photograph albums, diaries, invitations, press cuttings and several extraordinary items of realia, notably a nineteenth century tortoiseshell-bound Dutch bible; a ceremonial Japanese lacquered bowl presented by the Emperor of Japan and a lacquered box containing Japanese insignia and ribbon. The collection also contains material on Sir Douglas and Lady Mawson and photographs and other items relating to Broken Hill and the Newcastle Steelworks.
