The collection held by the Library includes correspondence, photographs, costume designs, programs, press cuttings, publicity material and posters, music scores, writings by Bodenwieser, personal documents, dissertations and publications. The collection documents Bodenwieser's career in modern dance both in Europe and Australia, and the tours and performances of her dance companies Tanzgruppe Bodenwieser and the Bodenwieser Ballet. The collection also documents numerous exhibitions and writings relating to or featuring Bodenwieser, which reflect the continuing appreciation of her talent and influence.

The collection comprises personal and professional records of various members of the Colleano family, who performed as "Colleano's All Star Circus" in Australia and internationally in the early twentieth century. The collection, derived from the contortionist Rubye Mae Colleano (née Browne), wife of Con Colleano's brother James Bonar Colleano Snr (1893-1957), includes correspondence, professional agreements, material re. Captain Geoffrey Wikner's Halifax flight to Australia, receipts, programmes, press cuttings, and approx. 500 photographs. The photographs include studio portraits of Colleano family members, inscribed photographs of theatrical entertainers, postcards, and family photographs including parties, holidays, aircraft, sports and pets.

The collection comprises papers relating to Lynne Murphy, gathered by her over 60 years as a professional actress on stage, radio, television and film, from 1940 to 2004. Lynne Murphy was her professional name. The collection includes letters, typed scripts, annotated scripts, programs, publicity flyers, posters, newspaper cuttings and printed material containing reviews of shows, and photographs from the many theatre, radio, television and film productions in which Lynne Murphy performed and acted. These include radio serials such as Dr Paul, theatre roles with the Metropolitan Theatre, Minerva Theatre, and Sydney Theatre Company, television programs including Number 96 and Homicide, and the film, Kabbarli. Correspondence comprises a large number of congratulatory letters, notes, cards and telegrams, mostly from other performers and friends.

MS Acc09.170 comprises papers documenting the music career of Jack O'Hagan. The papers include business and personal correspondence, lyrics, music manuscripts, notes, radio scripts, publications, theatre programs, newspaper cuttings, a scrapbook and published music, largely of O'Hagan's work. In addition, there is a scrapbook of Jack O'Hagan memorabilia compiled by Ellwyn Wilford of Allan's Publishing, and papers relating to O'Hagan created by Keith Watson, a music collector. The latter include scripts, photographs, programs and videos of a musical tribute to Jack O'Hagan written by Watson, and a manuscript of a book on O'Hagan by Watson (5 boxes, 4 music boxes, 2 fol. boxes).
