The collection comprises weekly letters of Michael McKernan to his parents and brothers, whilst a Jesuit Novice and Scholastic that cover daily life and thoughts. The collection also includes index cards relating to McKernan's research on the Church and WWI as well as 26 cassette tapes of interviews with Jugiong locals used for Michael McKernan's publication "The valley : a story from the heart of the land".
This collection comprises recordings from 79 microcassettes relating to the life of pastoralist JJ Leahy created by Gerard Leahy as research for his several books. Titles include 'Horses, cars and aircraft : JJ Leahy pastoral property pioneer' and 'Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in two generations'. The microcassettes include interviews with Keith and Paul Leahy speaking about their father JJ Leahy (1999-2007) and provide first hand recollections of an important rural figure and of a pastoral industry that is rapidly changing from holdings by individuals to corporate ownership.

MS Acc09.091 and MS Acc09.113 consignments comprise press cuttings, articles, correspondence and documents relating to policies of the National Library of Australia on collection development and information technology such as Kinetica and World 1 project, the National Document and Information System (NDIS). The World 1 project, an electric network connecting Australian and New Zealand libraries, was to be a system that would link libraries around Australia and provide electronic access to international materials not held by the Library.

The Jeff Carter archive documents Australian rural and working life in the latter half of the twentieth century of Australian people, places and events, social and environmental changes in Australian history, portraits of individuals or groups representing aspects of Australian life and which contribute to the social record.
The collection comprises papers of Walter Hamilton, who is a journalist and author of "Children of the Occupation: Japan's Untold Story". It consists research material for the book relating to mixed-race children fathered by members of the post-war Allied Occupation Force in Japan; welfare agency's program of assistance for mixed-race children in Japan; Kure City and the Japanese Naval Base at nearby Etajima; colonial policy; Japanese imperialism; Japan-Australia relations from the 1930s onwards. It includes files of International Social Service, press clippings, handwritten notes, audio-visual presentation scripts, documents from the National Archives of Australia, and other printed materials.
Collection of photographs documenting the effects and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and COVID-19 lockdown in Sydney, New South Wales and Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, between 2020 and 2022. Included are images of social distancing restrictions, public health signage, an empty Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, empty Sydney streets, and people queuing to get tested for COVID-19 in Sydney, New South Wales. The collection also includes a range of anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine mandate protests. The protest images include photographs of speakers, the 'Convoy to Canberra' protest in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, and the 'World Wide Freedom Day Rally' in Sydney, New South Wales.
The collection comprises photographs by Rachel Mounsey of the devastating bushfires that swept through the Victorian township of Mallacoota and surrounds on New Year's Eve, 2019. The photographs document events during the bushfires and the aftermath, including: residents sheltering at emergency evacuation centres; passengers departing from the Bastion Point boat ramp on HMAS Choules; and residents returning to their burnt-out properties and assessing the damage.
