This collection comprises of letters from Wilfred Burchett to Sarah Boston, dating from 1969-70. At the time Sarah Boston was a researcher working for Granada TV and was asked to research the life of Ho Chi Minh. She met Wilfred Burchett in Paris and he assisted her with her research.

This collection comprises a group of miscellaneous manuscripts and documents which were accumulated by Rex Nan Kivell over a number of years and which span several centuries. The pre-1500 material comprises legal documents and fragments from manuscripts of theological, biblical, musico-liturgical and literary works. The legal documents include deeds of gift, recoveries, leases, marriage settlements, bonds, apprenticeship indentures, quitclaims, financial accounts, letters, and an indenture relating to Drury Lane Theatre. Included in the legal documents are a number dating from 1561 to 1785 relating to property and legal matters associated with the Elliott family from the Salisbury area in Wiltshire.

The papers in this collection relate to Flanigan's involvement in the campaign to have the murder conviction of Lindy Chamberlain overturned. Included is correspondence relating to appeals by Flanigan to Members of Parliament and members of the judiciary and with others supporting the campaign, drafts and final copies of a pamphlet and booklet she wrote about the case, copies of court transcripts of the trial and subsequent appeal, newsletters of numerous support groups, press cuttings and ephemera. Much of the collection comprises photocopies of material which was distributed widely amongst supporters. There is also a large quantity of papers created by Robert (Birdie) Swift, another supporter of the Chamberlain's case.

The collection held by the Library includes correspondence, photographs, costume designs, programs, press cuttings, publicity material and posters, music scores, writings by Bodenwieser, personal documents, dissertations and publications. The collection documents Bodenwieser's career in modern dance both in Europe and Australia, and the tours and performances of her dance companies Tanzgruppe Bodenwieser and the Bodenwieser Ballet. The collection also documents numerous exhibitions and writings relating to or featuring Bodenwieser, which reflect the continuing appreciation of her talent and influence.

This collection comprises anuscripts, proofs, correspondence, notes and photographs relating to Williams' biography of Christina Stead and her later publication, Fathers sons. The addition of MS Acc11.045 comprises correspondence and other papers of Christina Stead collected by Christine Williams during and after the writing of her biography of Stead. They include: a card sent to John A. Dillaway; a letter of thanks from lawyer LL Davies about the Oombulgurri Defence campaign; a letter from Tella Freeman, to Christine Williams written after the publication of the biography; three pages of notes on Chomsky and Chartism; and royalty statements and other financial records. The latest consignment, MS Acc23.117 comprises correspondence written by Elizabeth Harrower to Christine Williams. The collection includes 49 dated, and 19 undated letters, with one letter and one printed email written from Christine Williams to Elizabeth Harrower.
