The collection includes: diaries, photographs, lectures, course notes, writings, talks, publications, correspondence, invitations and papers; files relating to Migrant Women's Association, the Women's Intern League, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF); material relating to her presence at the PowWow of First Nation People Alberta Canada and Buffalo (NY); files relating to Federation of Greek Women, Greek poems and stories by Dorothy Buckland-Fuller.

Extracts relating to the protected Malay States (Native States) from the Public Record Office classes CO 273, CO 537 and CO 809. These are confidential and open dispatches from the Governor of the Straits Settlements to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, together with enclosures, Colonial Office minutes, and draft replies from the Colonial Office to the Governor 1874-1896. In addition, there is correspondence between the Colonial Office and other government departments (e.g. War Office, Admiralty). Mainly one volume of miscellaneous correspondence for each year, chiefly from individuals or non-official organisations.

The collection consists mainly of correspondence, quite a large part of this being letters of regret sent to Denman on his resignation as Governor-General. However, correspondents include Lord Dudley, who preceded Denman as Governor-General, Joseph Cook, Andrew Fisher, G F Pearce, E D Millen, Winston Churchill and Lord Stamfordham, Secretary to King George V. Several letters, notably those from Australian politicians and that from Winston Churchill, concern matters of Australian Defence, especially naval defence. Other letters refer to the question of the retention of Sydney Government House for use by the Governor-General. The collection also contains some documents such as appointments.
