This collection consists of material created and collected by Guntis Berzins, who worked for the Overseas Telecommunications Commission (Australia) as an engineer during the 1960s and 1970s. The collection includes a series of 20 lectures on "Telecommunications Organization and Procedures" issued by the Commission, working documents regarding testing of the concept and establishment of a system to distribute television to the Australian outback, examination papers for promotion to a clerical position, and ephemera relating to the official opening of the South-East Asia Commonwealth Cable (SEACOM) on 30 March 1967. This submarine telephone cable linked Cairns with Guam, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Also included is a travel briefing file presented to Wheeler by the Australasian Petroleum Company during his time on the Foreign Affairs Committee.

This collection comprises four handwritten notebooks. Volumes 1-3 comprise a journal documenting Richard Harding's time as Commissioner of the ABC from 24 October 1975 to 1978, and cover the Governor-General's dismissal of the Whitlam Government on 11 November 1975. Volume 4, which cross-references the first three notebooks, comprises Harding's working notes for his book Outside Interference: The Politics of Australian Broadcasting (1979).

There are also three newspaper cuttings on Blagden Chambers, and a foreword written by Judith Wright for the book.

This collection comprises letters dating from 1985-1988 from Norman Wood to Peter Solness, following Solness' visit to Paraguay to document the survivors and descendants of the New Australia Colony, a socialist utopian settlement established by William Lane in 1893-1894. The letters describe Wood's life and his reflections on Paraguay, as well as discussing the correspondence he received from Australians after Solness published an article about the Colony.

One volume is titled "The cocklebiddy fisherman". Correspondents include Richard Hopkinson, Thomas Shapcott, Mirka Mora, Robert Adamson, Charles Buckmaster, Rolf Hennequel, Alexander Craig, John Tranter, Peter Kocan and Rodney Hall. The collection also includes 13 letters and a poem written by Dransfield to Paula Keogh between October and December 1972 (2 boxes).
