Abstract Or Scope
The collection includes files which are maintained in the filing system used by the Association during their active life. The files include correspondence, minutes, statements, financial records, newsletters, agendas, examinations and printed material relating to the Federation's involvement in the monitoring of underwater safety, the setting of standards and the accreditation of scuba diving instruction, local and international diving competitions and conservation issues. The records also include a number of files documenting the Federation's links with international diving organisations and other Australian sporting bodies and government agencies.

MS 7981 comprises correspondence, press clippings, programmes, photographs, posters, financial records, contracts, music scores, scripts, administrative files, stage management reports and other papers dealing with the numerous concert tours, stage musicals and theatrical productions promoted by Miller from the late 1950s to the late 1970s. These include such artists as Louis Armstrong, Arthur Rubinstein, Roy Orbison and the Rolling Stones; such musicals as Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar; and, theatrical productions including The boys in the band and The secretary bird. The collection also includes material on individuals managed by Miller including Graham Kennedy, Barry Humphries, Dame Zara Bate and Sir John Kerr. Also present are papers of an autobiographical nature such as those relating to Miller's trials and imprisonment on fraud charges in the early 1980s (85 boxes, 26 large cartons, 5 fol. boxes, 1 fol. packet, 2 elephant folios).

Collection of books, manuscripts and papers of C.J. Dennis and Hal Gye assembled by Harry Chaplin. They include typescripts and manuscript drafts of The Glugs of Gosh, notes by Gye on the frontispiece of Backblock ballads and later verses , an album of letters and photographs entitled 'Early life in Auburn and Laura' relating to Dennis' early life in South Australia, typescript poems by Dennis, an album of photographs and drawings of Dennis and Gye, letters of Dennis, and correspondence between Gye and Chaplin. There are also some notes by Hugh McCrae and letters of Sir John Monash, John Masefield, T. Inglis Moore, Dame Mary Gilmore and Olive Dennis.
