- Only a small amount of the School of Music correspondence is included in this series. There are drafts of letters to Alan Foskett, Department of the Interior, concerning the Director's salary and the need for permission to attend meetings not directly concerned with his Department, a request from the Juillard School of Music for names of composers to be invited to the United States, and an invitation to be a foundation member of The Australian Society for Music Education. Correspondents include Richard Kingsland, Lauri Kennedy, Frank Callaway, David Cubbin, Douglas Hood and Rosslyn McLeod, enclosing articles on the Alexander technique.

- The papers were donated to the Library by Mrs Ruth Llewellyn in 1990 and 1994 An addition of papers relating to pianist Hephzibah Menuhin (Series 23) was donated to the Library by Mrs Ruth Llewellyn in 2001.
