This collection comprises the papers and memorabilia of Dutch World War II veterans who migrated to Australia. This material was collected by Edith van Loo as part of the Dutch War Veterans in Australia Oral History project. The bulk of the collection comprises papers of Dutch war veteran Paul Couvret. There are also papers of Dutch war veteran Jacobus Johannes (Jack) Dalmayer, together with other material collected during the project.

Personal collection of Ahmad Shah Siddiqi documenting his time in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Australia during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan between 1979 and 1989. The collection comprises approximately 250 photographs, mostly colour, which document the activities of Afghan Mujahideen fighters during the Soviet-Afghan war; 118 anti-Soviet propaganda posters produced by the Internal Islamic Fronts of Afghanistan; 66 Afghan newspapers including issues from Daily Shahadat, Alfalah and Ghalbe Assia; papers written in Farsi; and other ephemera including cards, stickers and Islamic headscarves produced by the Press and Information Department, Political Committee Hezb-i-Islami, Afghanistan.

This collection primarily comprises correspondence from Peter Ryan to Graeme Sligo regarding the book "The Backroom Boys : Alfred Conlon and Army's Directorate of Research and Civil Affairs, 1942-46" written by Graeme Sligo. The book covers topics of Army Directorate of Research 1942-1946 - New Guinea, Colonel Alfred Austin Joseph Conlon, Sir Thomas Blamey, The Directorate of Research and Civil Affairs, and The Australian New Guinea Administrative Unit (ANGAU). This collection of papers relating to Andrew Delfosse Badgery comprises a mixture of formats and materials, some contemporary to Badgery's life and some produced by third parties. Of note are a number of diaries which the donor accredit to Badgery himself, one which is of his early life and labelled as fragile, and one which was created during his time as a pilot in WWI. There is a large family tree, and numerous photographs, some stored as a collection in a single binder and some in his diaries. There is a lot of material relating to a biography of Badgery which the donor suggests was written by his son Peter, including several typed drafts, and correspondences with the Australian War Memorial and National Archives Australia regarding his service. There is also a biography of his son, as well as some articles written by the donor regarding Badgery.

The collection comprises a biography of Dudley George Tong (1887-1973), an Australian of Chinese heritage, who served in World War I, 21 Battalion AIF and was later committed to Mayday Hills Asylum in Beechworth for over 40 years. The biography was created by Eileen Clark on behalf of the Beechworth Cemetery Trust, who sought an application to the Department of Veteran Affairs for Tong's grave to be marked to commemorate his war service. The biography includes details of Tong's family and medical history and his military service plus a photograph of his headstone.
