This collection comprises slides taken by Jim Frazier during fieldwork with Mary E White. The images, which document fossils, landscapes, minerals and other geological features, were used for many of her publications including "The Greening of Gondwana" (1986), "Time in Our Hands: Semi-Precious Gemstones: Keys to the Geological Past" (1991), "Nature of Hidden Worlds: Reading the rock" (1999) and others. It provides a valuable documentary record of Australia's unique geology and landscape and is a testament to changing relationship of Australia's to the environment. Many of the slides have annotated housing with outlines, species names, measurements, and other information. There is also a small number of photographic prints and negatives included in the collection.

Content Summary: This collection comprises material relating to the policy, activities and structure of the Anti-Nuclear and Anti-Uranium Collective (Friends of the Earth, Australia). It includes minute books, correspondence, submissions to government bodies, pamphlets, periodicals/newsletters and other unique manuscript material, as well as audio-visual material (photographs, film, and sound) and an extensive collection of posters and rally banners. Significant subjects and campaigns covered in this archive include: Roxby Downs Blockade, Maralinga, Jabiluka, as well as continual efforts to fight against the establishment of nuclear power stations within Australia, and against a national/international waste dump. Australia's First Nations Australians (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) voices have played an integral part in this movement and are strongly represented throughout this collection.

This collection comprises extensive research files for books published by Tim Bonyhady from the 1970s to 2010. Included are copies of newspaper and journal articles; a small quantity of colour photographs, negatives and transparencies pertaining to the Burke and Wills expedition and Colonial art; edited typescripts, handwritten notes, and correspondence with readers and fellow academics. The collection also includes files relating to the environmental law and the Australian Conservation Movement, such as legal documents, scientific studies, assessments, conference papers and review submissions; records relating to the Environment and Natural Resources Committee; and records relating to the Independent Review of the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, along with associated correspondence with members of the task force.

It addresses recreational and game fishing, the development of the Australian commercial and recreational fishing industries, 1960s-1970s Australian salt water fishing, and the development of fishing tackle, lures and rigs. The collection also documents fishing tournaments, fishing clubs and fish species.

Subject areas cover park management; history of land use; science of alpine ecosystems in Australia; role of Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Authority; personalities closely involved in Kosciuszko State and National Park management such as Sir William McKell, Sir Garfield Barwick, Sir William Hudson, ES Clayton, Baldur Byles, Milo Dunphy, Alec Costin. This instalment also includes a separate collection of Baldur Byles, which was bequeathed to Neville Gare on Byles's death, as Gare was writing his biography. The collection comprises photographs by Rachel Mounsey of the devastating bushfires that swept through the Victorian township of Mallacoota and surrounds on New Year's Eve, 2019. The photographs document events during the bushfires and the aftermath, including: residents sheltering at emergency evacuation centres; passengers departing from the Bastion Point boat ramp on HMAS Choules; and residents returning to their burnt-out properties and assessing the damage.
