Abstract Or Scope
The collection documents aspects of Passmore's career from the 1930s to 1997, and includes extensive series of correspondence (personal, professional and family), together with writings, reviews, conference papers, awards and invitations related to his various academic and writing activities. Also featured in the papers are photographs, articles and speeches, interviews by or about Passmore and papers relating to a conference celebrating his career.

This collection comprises papers and material relating to Cheryl Stock's career as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Material in Boxes 1-7 are divided into two sections. The first comprises papers relating to Stock's career in general and the second to her work as founding Artistic Director of the northern Queensland contemporary dance company Dance North (1984-1995). There are working notes, research notes, programs, scripts, publicity material, press cuttings and photographs relating to the various productions with which Stock has been involved. The correspondence included in the collection relates only to specific productions on which Stock was working. There are also copies of journal articles, keynote addresses and seminar papers by Stock. Material in Boxes 8-16 mainly comprise papers, reports, photographs and material relating to Stock's role as founding artistic director and choreographer of Dance North, her involvement with the World Dance Aliance Global as Secretary General (2008-2016), and her time in Vietnam, where she was the first teacher, director and choreographer to introduce contemporary dance. There are also funding applications, budgets, reports, program schedules, choreographic notes, photographs and notebooks. Material also relates to site specific work as well as interviews and fieldwork undertaken by Stock for her doctoral thesis.

The collection comprises files that were central to L. F. Fitzhardinge's career, research and academic work. MS 5400 (Class 1) includes manuscript drafts of vols. 1 and 2 of Fitzhardinge's biography of William Hughes, including the complete and final draft of volume 2; extensive notes, newscuttings, and published material and illustrations relating to Hughes, his career, and political conditions of his time, and photocopies of documents held at major manuscript collections such as the the Public Record Office (U.K.); photocopies of Hughes' letters, memoranda, and cablegrams; Hughes' educational and medical records; and letters to Fitzhardinge about Hughes. MS 5400 (Class 2) comprises lecture notes, personal and professional correspondence, ephemera, family letters, notebooks and appointment diaries (1931-1993), notes and correspondence relating to Australian history projects, Fitzhardinge's final thesis on Roman fleets, photographs, illustrations and draft manuscripts of The Spartans.

Personal papers of the gallery director Gisella Scheinberg, relating to the artist Donald Friend. The papers document her relationship with the artist as a dealer and a friend. They include correspondence, exhibition catalogues, press cuttings, price lists and business papers. Of greatest interest is the collection of over 50 letters from Friend to Scheinberg. Also included in the papers is an unpublished manuscript by Friend, and papers relating to the art critic and artist Paul Haefliger.
