The collection comprises records for the Women's Auxiliary of Overseas Missions (W.A.O.M) - White Hills Branch (also refer to "White Hills Methodist Ladies Friendly Circe", "White Hills Methodist Auxiliary" and and "White Hills Ladies Fellowship Uniting Church") and includes minutes, correspondence, embroidered tablecloth, scrap books with cards, news cuttings, photographs and certificates. The material relates to the running of the organisation which included missionary work in Papua New Guinea.

Papers of Robert Mark, 2014

This consignment comprises both audio and video interviews with Robert Mark, undertaken in 2014, about his experiences as a post WWII refugee and migrant to Australia. Robert B Mark JP (1927-2020) migrated to Australia from France in 1951 having fought as a Yugoslav partisan against Germany. Interned in Sachsenhausen Camp outside Berlin, he survived three years and was demobilised in Trieste Italy and lived in Paris as a temporary resident until migrating to Australia. Upon arrival in Australia, he lived for two years in Bonegilla migrant camp and married Kyra Macready, a refugee from Russia. Robert Mark lived in Mt Beauty and worked on the Kiewa Valley Power scheme. In 1957 their daughter was born and Robert moved to Cooma to work on the Snowy Mountains Hydro Power scheme. Correspondence of Francis Macnab and family, 1839-1844

The collection comprises ten handwritten letters by Francis Macnab and his family members dated from 1839 to 1844. These letters provide news of a recent immigrant of his life in Australia to family members in Scotland. Six letters signed by Francis Macnab with four further letters of Macnab family correspondence. They give his social and economic impressions of the time, including the absence of women, the availability of artifacts he was sending home, (such as a Chinese mandarin's hat, a pair of Tartar women's slippers, and a pair of Chinese lady shoes), recreational activities on the Hawkesbury and in the Domain, and the economic situation. In the letters to Francis' mother contain a variety of business commentary, family communications, and observations on life in Sydney. There is also one letter written by Francis Macnab from Melbourne.

"The Argus" picnic accounts, invitations, &c. for the years 1887-1888, 1887-1888

The collection comprises two volumes which record company events organised by The Argus newspaper during 1887 and 1888. The volumes are handwritten, the records probably compiled by an accounts clerk (presumably 'J. Brash') working for William Spowers. William George Spowers (1856-1932) was the proprietor of Melbourne newspaper The Argus during the years that these records were kept. The entries record the names of all invited guests, including members of the Spowers family, staff and their families, journalists from other newspapers, politicians, and prominent citizens. Also detailed are the arrangements for catering and musicians (Herr Plock and his band from Glen's, Collins Street), railway tickets and reservations for outings, children's entertainment (Weston's Punch Judy, South Melbourne), and costs for the printing of programmes. The Argus was an Australian daily morning newspaper in Melbourne from 2 June 1846 to 19 January 1957, and was considered to be the general Australian newspaper of record for this period.

This collection comprises letters dating from 1985-1988 from Norman Wood to Peter Solness, following Solness' visit to Paraguay to document the survivors and descendants of the New Australia Colony, a socialist utopian settlement established by William Lane in 1893-1894. The letters describe Wood's life and his reflections on Paraguay, as well as discussing the correspondence he received from Australians after Solness published an article about the Colony.

Collection comprises a diary in seven volumes, primarily written continuously by Felton Mathew from 3 August 1829-December 1835. Volume 1. Journal kept by Mathew during voyage to Australia per Morley 3 August-3 December 1829, in same volume as diary of Felton Mathew recording his surveying work in the Hawkesbury and Hunter District from 1 January 1830 to 13 September 1832. Also includes loose diary entries dated December 1829 to December 1835.
