The collection comprises papers of Bishop Lewis Bostock Radford, 4th Anglican Bishop of Goulburn (1915-1933), collected by his son Paul Radford for his publication "A scholar in a new land : a biography of Lewis Bostock Radford" (1979). The papers relate to the Bishop's life as an Anglican priest and episcopacy and include handwritten and printed sermons, articles, pamphlets, service notebooks (handwritten in English, Greek and Latin), correspondence, photographs of Goulburn, Bishopthorpe Manor and the Radford family, sketchbooks and a visitors' book.

The collection also documents fishing tournaments, fishing clubs and fish species.

Tony Peterson, Rev. Val Noone, Rev. Roger Pryke, Rev. David Pope and Archbishop Ronald Knox. Other papers concern the 1st Ecumenical Mission, Melbourne, 1964; the controversy surrounding the A.B.C. Television program 'This tiny ship in space,' and the associations of priests and ex-priests in Australia.
